Summary:

Looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience using Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and SQL. Simply put, we're out to build the most effective social advertising platform possible. Our team thrives on getting stuff done, deploys regularly, and strives to automate anything that we'd have to manually do more than once. As a member of our team you'll be challenged to learn, teach, lead, and CRUSH hard problems with a healthy balance of humility and zeal.

Responsibilities:

• Build an industry leading social advertising platform, BAM
• Work with a small team of skilled engineers in a pair programming environment
• Explore and learn to work on all areas of the application stack with a senior engineer

Qualifications:

• Custom Web application development experience
• 3- 5 years with SQL and databases
• Experience developing complex custom applications to include database, storage, API development either interacting with others API etc.
• A track record for solving problems and getting things done
• A desire to take responsibility and own an application
• Intrigued by huge data storage and analysis
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or other opensource languages such as PHP, Python
• jQuery, Backbone, and lots of custom JavaScript
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis
• Rspec, Jasmine, and Capybara
• Chef
• AWS
• Sidekiq
• Git & Github
• *nix (Mac OS X in development, Ubuntu & Gentoo in production)
• Facebook API
