Carrier Transicold is driving transport refrigeration innovation with its recent introduction of ecoFORWARDTM technologies - advanced system improvements to help move business forward in more sustainable ways by boosting refrigeration performance, significantly reducing fuel consumption and delivering compliance for 2013 and beyond.

We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst in our Information Technology Department to be responsible for leading projects that focus on systems integration and business analysis and support current and future projects. The candidate will provide consultation and implementation on topics such as system development, database design, user interface development, production scheduling, and system integration in areas related to product manufacture and business processes.

Responsibilities include:

* Building an understanding of current business systems and how they interact with one another
* Understand complex business needs and translate them into technical specifications
* Developing or enhancing software systems and utilities that meet the needs of the business
* Managing projects to ensure a quality product is produced on-time, within budget and per requirements
* Consulting with internal and external resources to understand and identify software requirements
* Testing software functionality and design concepts as compared to requirements
* Troubleshooting of software to identify problem areas and determine solutions that take into account the benefits to end users, feasibility of change and implementation/sustainment costs
* Documenting design requirements, software help files, training material, test reports and standard work for software change process
* Consulting with third party vendor technical experts to understand software specifications and integration into current business needs.
* Assess and maintain processes and applications to ensure compliance with internal policies and standards and conform with UTC Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
* Provide ongoing support of exsiting systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business systems, computing or equivalent engineering/technical discipline is required with 4+ years of related experience or Masters degree in business systems, computing or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience. Knowledge of structured software development processes, experience providing end-user assistance on a Windows platform, experience with Active Directory, basic knowledge of networking equipment and concepts, ability to provide level 2 support for MS Access and Visual Basic applications and experience with SQL databases.
