Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Acts as Technical Architect for third-party device diagnostics software design, implementation, and testing.
• Analyzes measures and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) produced from device diagnostics data and look for opportunities & to enhance client Architecture and implementation requirements.
• Executes testing of new diagnostics software to ensure accuracy of device diagnostics measures and KPIs.
• Develops and produces reports, analysis, and tools to provide insight into device diagnostics architecture implementation.
• Works with internal stakeholders to drive analytics issues and/or architecture implementation issues to resolution.
• Develops and maintains processes for testing and validation of device diagnostics & analytics.
• Works closely with internal and external labs organization to drive improvements in device diagnostics architecture & measures.
• Works closely with the device diagnostics vendor to drive improvements in vendor's tools to ensure agent architecture accuracy and stability.
• Works with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize device diagnostics architecture & analytics issues and drive to resolution.
• Develops and maintains tools to perform and manage device diagnostics architecture & analytics testing and validation.
• Develops detailed functional design and implementation enhancements and prototypes (eg, third party client software, device operating system such as Android/Blackberry/Java/Window etc.).
• Works with cross-functional teams to modify/enhance the design and implementation of the client software from internal/external business requirements.
• Works to resolve client functionality and implementation issues, designing and implementing client and implementation enhancements, and documenting client functionality and testing requirements.
• Provides input for third-party client software and implementation related issues; planning, design enhancements and execution of client implementation activities.
• Act as a liaison between the internal business customer & third party client(s).

SKILLS

BA/BS degree is preferred. Must have expertise in device architecture, device OS, device diagnostics and related technologies. Strong understanding of the device and third-party device diagnostics client architecture and implementation requirements needed. Must have experience in integrating third-party client into various device architectures ie., Qualcomm, Android, Windows etc. Technical Project management experiences a plus.
Good critical thinking skills required. Must have expertise in wireless device OS architecture, wireless protocols (GSM, UMTS, LTE, WiFi, VoLTE), and wireless device architecture. Must have experience as a Systems Analyst. Excellent skills in Excel, SQL, and device diagnostics third-party client architecture. Knowledge of RAN performance engineering is desired.
