We are seeking an A+ Certified Field Support Tech for a premium Contract to Hire opportunity. The candidate must have expertise in supporting hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, Servers and point of sale equipment.
OVERVIEW
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems as required by the client.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of experience in a field dispatch position or in a related area
- Expertise with a variety tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
- Must be CompTIA A+ certified and have OEM and industry related certifications on desktop, laptop, printer and Servers
- Familiarity with supporting printers, including multi-function devices a plus
- Must have a clean driving record and own a reliable vehicle for use in this position
- Potential candidates should reside in the Morristown, NJ area
