Citrix Engineer and Administrator - Infrastructure Technology Services (ITS)

Reporting Information/Location
The Citrix Engineer and System Administrator is located at our Auburn Hills Operations Center and reports to a Vice President of ITS. This position has no direct reports.
Position Responsibilities
Works under general direction of ITS' management team and supervisor, responsibilities include those activities related to Citrix Engineering and administration.
1. The core deliverables of this position is to insure the overall "good health" of the farm, and operating system and prevent any unplanned outages in the production environment. Additionally, design, build, and provide estimates for project initiatives.
2. Support activities include, but not limited to: Middleware management, file system maintenance, disk space management, technical support and general troubleshooting, license monitoring, patch maintenance, and facilitation of Citrix Console.
3. This position will provide status on select work assignments; facilitate the installations, maintenance, configurations, and integrity assurance of server operating systems and Citrix farm components.
4. Implementing farm and published application enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance is also a deliverable of this position.
5. Other duties include instructing systems administrative personnel, formulating and defining specifications for large, medium, small, and internal-level projects and/or addressing all levels of production incidents by leveraging software tools internal and/or external to Comerica Bank.
6. Performing documentation related to process and procedures of the activities related to Citrix Engineering and administration.
7. This position will work closely with the leadership teams from various Service Company groups.
8. Candidates must have a flexible approach to work, understand the demands of supporting a 24 by 7 production environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills and client focus.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 2 years of XenServer and 6 years of Xenapp experience
- 6 years of Citrix Console experience
- 6 years support experience
- 6 years various Server Operating systems experience (Windows 2000, 2003, 2008)
- 6 years various Operating systems experience (XP, Vista, Windows 7)
- 3 years enterprise level experience in large distributed environment
- 6 years patch maintenance
