POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our client company, a leader in insurance software development, is looking to bring in an experienced Senior Developer to join their Product Technologies area. This Developer must be highly skilled in working with .NET applications and will be required to rewrite and support existing Windows based applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 8+ years of application development experience
* Skilled in working with - Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 (or later); should include C# and VB. Net, Microsoft .NET 2.0 (or later), SQL Server 2005 (or later), C++, VB6 and Common Language Infrastructure
* Ability to create .NET applications
* Experience with documentation and design
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Insurance industry experience is a plus
Local candidates are preferred for this role because this company does not offer a relocation package, nor do they reimburse for travel expenses to the interview.
