Job Overview
The Account Manager is a key element within our customer support operations. An Emerging Account Manager is the face of Rackspace to our customers. They are the point of contact for anything an account needs. An Emerging Account Manager must provide Fanatical Support in everything they do to provide service to our customers.
We want you because your hard work and dedication will continue to drive us to the next level. You'll solve issues by utilizing your own creative techniques to ensure FanaticalĀ® troubleshooting and advice, while also means you'll be a key partner in building relationships with customers as you update them of each step along the way. We don't want you to just think outside of the box; we want you to break it!
Job Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Work in both dedicated and Cloud environments
- Own the relationship of about 250 Small to Medium Business (SMB) accounts
- Work through a ticket queue to solve multiple customer issues
- Work in phone queue addressing customers and helping them solve their problems
- Work with other support team members to address current and future opportunities for improvement with customers

- 2 years experience in Business to Business relationships
- Able to adapt to an ever changing environment
- Can multi-task in their sleep!
- Fast learner
Guru (Preferred) Qualifications:
- Experience in a technical background
- Sales background
- Able to show a proven track record of providing Fanatical Support in previous positions
