Major Responsibilities and day to day activities and/or objective for the role:
Analyze, design, build and test changes to CA GEN based application for one or more of the following functional areas:
Provider/Member/Claims Processing/Payments

Record test results in test management system and resolve identified defects as assigned.
Perform post-deployment verification per deployment procedures.
Demonstrate working knowledge of appropriate programming languages and tools for supported systems.
Utilize document management system to maintain documentation.
Peer review work done by other team members.
Adhere to applicable process standards.
Utilize change management system to version code changes and follow approved change management processes.
Provide realistic estimates of own work.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
2 years. full life cycle development experience for applications using CA:GEN (CoolGen) 6.5 and above
2 years. experience with Object Oriented programming
Experience with CA:GEN target Implementation for HP/Tandem NSK platform.
Exposure OLAP Reporting Tools (ie Bus Objects)
Experience writing SQL and working with databases
Experience working in a team environment
Documentation experience using Visio & Word

Preferred Skills:
Experience with C and SQL on HP/Tandem NSK platform
Experience with TACL, Inspect tools for HP/Tandem NSK platform.
Experience CA:GEN target implementation for Java on Wintel platform
Medicaid application experience in financial and claims processing systems.
Quality Center, Serena or similar test and configuration management tools
