Based in Austin, TX we are looking for a Java Developer to join our fast growing team. We are a data-driven and insight-centric integrated agency engineered to transform client business and marketing in a digitally powered and connected world. The Developer will be responsible for working on existing software products and developing new API's and software. The position requires interfacing at all levels of the Tech team, understanding business objectives and drive results with limited supervision and instruction.

What you need for this position:

- BA or higher degree in Computer Science
- 4+ years of experience in web & software development
- Working understanding of Java, Python or Scala
- Experience with Git, Maven, Eclipse, OOP and design patterns as well as building large scale, high performance systems
- Knowledge of "Big Data" systems ( Cassandra, Hadoop, ElasticSearch)
- Need to be a self starter and driven. Have the ability to work under pressure and quickly determine efficacy of an approach, and a willingness to support team-mates in executing their responsibilities
