We are a privately owned, global company based in San Antonio, TX. We are looking for a Network Administrator/Engineer with excellent interpersonal skills and troubleshooting abilities. This position will oversee daily operations, maintenance, upgrades, design, protocol procedures and associated operations of all PC and Network activities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, troubleshoot & configure Windows Server ('03 to '08 R2) environment.
- Administer Exchange 2010 Servers
- Help oversee Active Directory responsibilities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot virtualized infrastructure (Citrix/VMWare).
- Perform systems backups and restores.
- Oversee systems related tickets for the enterprise.
- Other duties as needed and assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience working in a network environment running physical and virtual servers, or equivalent education.
- Bachelors Degree preferred (Information Systems or related field).
- Must be service oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- PC troubleshooting skills in a networked environment is required.
- Knowledge of Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 is required.
- Knowledge of virtual systems (ie Citrix, VMware).
- Operational knowledge of Ethernet Switches, Hubs, DTC†s, VOIP, and Mux†s is highly desired.
- Familiarity with SQL server and/or database management is desired.
