What you'll be doing:
- Develop high-quality J2EE based E-commerce based applications through entire development life cycle for production quality web-based systems on major engagements
- Create proof-of-concept implementations of WebSphere Commerce based applications using new and upgraded WebSphere technologies (eg, Portal, MQ Series, Web Services/SOA, etc.)
- Install/Upgrade, configure, and tune WebSphere products (Commerce, WAS, WPS) at customer sites and in lab settings.
- Mentor client IT teams in WebSphere Commerce Development and WSAD//Commerce Toolkit best practices
- Must be able to travel and interface with customers on a professional basis. Travel on-site, roughly 75% of the time. Only in your geographic region.
What you need for this position:
- Candidate must have 1+ years of experience consulting.
- 3+ years experience in Web Sphere Commerce application development.
- Relevant experience in E-commerce architecture and design.
- Experience in WebSphere Commerce Development and WSAD/Commerce Toolkit.
- Experience managing teams of developers.
- Foundational understanding of network infrastructure.
- SOA understanding.
- Experience doing client presentations.
- Developer task management and assignment
- Object Oriented Design
- J2EE Design Patterns
- Database Concepts (SQL, ER Diagrams)
- DB2 and/or Oracle database software
- Portal technologies
- WebSphere (Application Server, Commerce Server, MQ)
- Rational Application Developer (RAD) or WSAD

- Web Development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
