Job Description

As a member of the Identity team, you will participate in the design and development of future features of our identity management solution. You will have the opportunity to work with some of our best and brightest on this critical infrastructure for the company. You will be part of a team that solves complex engineering problems to build robust, high performance solutions.

This is not an entry level position.

Job Requirements

- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong Java experience, secondary languages (Python, Scala, Ruby) a plus
- Demonstrated experience building highly, scalable and distributed software systems
- Solid grasp of Object Oriented design principles
- Thorough understanding of algorithms, data structures and design patterns.
- 6+ years of experience in software product development (design, coding)
- Security-related focus and performance driven design

Responsibilities include:

- Design and develop software for large-scale, high performance cloud-based services.
- Translating functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs
- Providing estimates for development effort
- Implementing proof of concept, prototypes and production-grade software
- creating unit and acceptance tests
- coordinating sign-off from QA/Test
- automating deployment and assisting Operations and Support staff in trouble-shooting software issues as well as implementing bug fixes.
- Adheres to established coding and process best practices.
- Makes regular contribution to engineering standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Developing own technical leadership skill by providing guidance to new hires.
- Initiate ideas and act upon those ideas that result in indirect benefits.
- Fanatical about quality, maintainability, and reliability.
- Ability to develop, adopt, and share quality improvement strategy. Initiates opportunity for collaborating outside of his/her team.
