3M is seeking a Business Analyst (Tolling) for the Motor Vehicle Systems and Services (MVSS) Business Unit located in Austin, TX.

Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Business Analyst (Tolling) will be assigned to large projects and will work closely with the client, project management, developers and data conversion and configuration specialists to identify requirement gaps and enhancements in our existing product suite that must be modified to meet contractual and client requirements.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- The business analyst will need to know and understand the 3M product
- Serve as a Tolling product and system expert.
- Engage in RFI/RFP process to better understand needs and be able to do fit/gap analysis.
- The business analyst will communicate with business and technical staff alike and manage to scope contractual commitments.
- The Business Analyst will document and manage project requirements, and collaborate with Development and QA teams to clarify business requirements as necessary.
- The Business Analyst will be responsible to facilitate User Acceptance Testing with Clients and internal teams.

This position is contingent upon 3M MVSS winning, maintaining, or renewing a contract with clients.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited University
- Experience with full Software Development Life Cycle (requirements through Implementation)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in requirements analysis, process design and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or Higher in Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or Computer Engineering or Information technology
- Experience in the Tolling Industry
- Prefer candidates with previous work experience in S&GB.
- Experience identifying and capturing software requirements
- Experience utilizing relational databases
- Experience working with and implementing COTS/MOTS solutions with fixed price, fixed timeline constraints
Experience working in a complex Matrix environment
- Experience working on projects through production/Go Live implementation
- Data analysis and ability to read and understand data models
- Experience Programming/Report development.
- Experience doing Quality Assurance/functional testing
- Experience as lead or experienced analyst on a mid or large sized project
- Experience with requirements management tools (Top Team, Rational, etc.)
- Facilitation skills
- Ability to comprehend data models
- Clear concise communication both written and oral
- Ability to work well with large and diverse teams both technical and non-technical in nature
- SQL Query skills
- Experience working on a team with variable responsibilities
- Safety and Graphics Business Unit candidate

Location: Austin TX

Travel: May include up to 25% Domestic travel
