3M is seeking a Business Analyst Supervisor (Tolling) for the Motor Vehicle Systems and Services (MVSS) Business Unit located in Austin, TX.

Job Summary: The person hired for the position of Business Analyst Supervisor (Tolling) will be responsible for the Business analysts and resource management/staffing of BAs on Tolling projects.

This role will report to the Business Analyst COE Manager

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead a team of Business Analysts in successful delivery of Projects.
- Engage in RFI/RFP process to better understand needs and be able to do fit/gap analysis.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of established processes, practices and core tools/templates that align with the methodology.
- Ensure compliance to the best practices in Project Delivery.
- Coach and Mentor Business Analysts (employees and contractors) and BA Leads to develop their team members. This includes responsibility for resource planning to meet business needs.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Tolling Business Practices and systems..
- Act as a point of project escalation as it relates to business analyst performance and practice.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Management/Development/QA Teams from time to time to meet project deliverables.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and higher
- Minimum 3 years experience with full Software Development Life Cycle (requirements through Implementation)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in requirements analysis, process design and documentation.
- Minimum 3 years experience leading teams

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or Higher in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or software Engineering
- Experience in the Tolling Industry
- Experience identifying and capturing software requirements
- Prefer candidates with previous work experience in S&GB.
- Experience utilizing relational databases
- Experience working with and implementing COTS/MOTS solutions with fixed price, fixed timeline constraints
Experience working in a complex Matrix environment
- Experience working on projects through production/Go Live implementation
- Data analysis and ability to read and understand data models
- Experience Programming/Report development.
- Experience doing Quality Assurance/functional testing
- Experience as lead or experienced analyst on a mid or large sized project
- Experience with requirements management tools (Top Team, Rational, etc.)
- Facilitation skills
- Ability to comprehend data models
- Clear concise communication both written and oral
- Ability to work well with large and diverse teams both technical and non-technical in nature
- SQL Query skills
- Experience working on a team with variable responsibilities
- Safety and Graphics Business Unit candidate

Location: Austin, TX

Travel: May include up to 25% Domestic travel
