What You Will Do:

Under limited supervision supports the training activities in Information Services and Technology Department for the University of Maryland Medical System.

Designs, develops, implements, and maintains client training materials and programs in both classroom and Web-based environments as requested.

May be required to perform the responsibilities and tasks for a Senior Technical Trainer.

What You Need to Be Successful:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, education, information technology, or related fields required, or equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities have been acquired. Additional certifications may be required.

Five years of information system training facilitation experience. Experience with Healthcare EMAR, and CPOE systems required.

Achieves and maintains certification/credentialing status in assigned application(s).
