Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position is responsible for leading a team of analysts and managing the process and procedures necessary to mitigate Cyber and Physical threats facing the corporation. Position requires coordination of strategic planning team and tactical analysis to protect Exelon personnel and assets from identified and emerging threats. Manage and provide business unit customers with clear and concise alerts regarding identified threats. Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with clients. Participate in developing and implementing an enterprise wide intelligence strategy/policy. Manage the rollout and maintenance of large-scale intelligence projects of high complexity, size and change management risk. Position will coordinate the strategic intelligence gathering and dissemination process and coordinate the overall corporate tactical response with a tactical resource within the Cyber SOC. This position should deliver services and solutions on time, within budget and with a specific implementation strategy. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Item Accountability
1. Lead and manage the CISS analytical team to identify, communicate and mitigate emerging and existing threats and vulnerabilities throughout the Exelon enterprise. Prepare, plan and manage resources to defined service level agreements within agreed upon timelines and budgets.
2. Manage current intelligence feeds within budget and identify new intelligence sources to better defend the Exelon enterprise against both Cyber and Physical attack.
3. Operate utilizing standard processes as defined within the Management Model. Oversee Intelligence gathering process improvement efforts and ensure adoption of standard processes throughout the business units to deliver an effective mitigation solution to identified threats.
4. Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with Federal, State, and Local intelligence sources and fusion centers on a regular basis throughout the Exelon AOR.
5. Maintain current business knowledge/acumen, including application of technology solutions to deliver more effective analytical products and results coordinating the corporate response.
6. Evaluate performance and provide coaching for assigned analytical personnel and also educate business unit customers to better understand the value of the analytical function and derived benefits. Participate in career development and succession planning processes. Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, and a learning organization. Provide input on development and retention processes for CISS employees.
7. Prepare and manage budget for area of responsibility. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related discipline with typically 8 to 10 years' experience collecting and disseminating Intelligence products or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Appropriate technical skills to include IT Certifications: CISSP, SANS certifications, Certified Ethical Hacker, or commensurate work experience.
Comptia Net+ and Sec+ Certifications
Demonstrated ability to understand the business impact of potential Cyber threats facing the enterprise.
Demonstrated superior writing and verbal communication skills.
Intelligence Community/DoD or Fortune 500 experience leading and managing an analytical team and producing reports for business consumption.
Experience leading and managing technical personnel.
Strong judgment and excellent analytical ability to include Governmental, Industry or DoD analytical certifications.
Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of business management and with vendors.
Experience managing budgets for functional area of responsibility.
Preferred:
Graduate degree, Master's in Computer Science or related discipline
Demonstrated incident response experience
Demonstrated Intelligence Analytical Experience
Pen Testing experience/Licensed Penetration Tester
