Job Title: ERP ADV Programmer Analyst
Salary/Rate: $70-90K
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
This position will be responsible for the definition, planning, design, development, improvement, installation, integration and/or maintenance of a large programming system, a complex programming application or new programming languages, operational systems advanced techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Four years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Must have at least one of the following technical competencies:
PeopleSoft People Tools, SQR, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Database, Cobol, Toad, Beyond Compare, Ultra Edit, WSFTP, XML, SSIS, Informatica
Requires knowledge of advanced technology, business applications, the development process and systems design in such areas as multi-processing and multi-programming, terminal oriented and communication based systems, languages, etc.
Must have a minimum of five years of professional experience in programming/analysis and/or directly related areas.
Proficiency in current programming technology required ie SQL, C# .net, JAVA, SharePoint required.
Familiar with general financial audit guidelines required.
Some understanding of SOX, SAS70 and Model Audit Rules required.
Experience preferred in the following areas:
Healthcare Insurance Industry, PeopleSoft Upgrade Projects, newest version of PeopleSoft applications (eg PeopleSoft version 9 and up), Hyperion Budgeting Systems.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Designs, codes, tests, maintains, trouble shoots, documents, trains, and leads projects on new or existing ERP integrated information systems with minimal supervision at various levels of complexity to maintain quality enterprise business solutions of application and technical architectures across multiple systems, sub-systems, or platforms within area of responsibility with a working knowledge of interface systems.
Produces, plans, and leads quality ERP enterprise information systems of application and technical architectures across multiple systems, sub-systems, or platforms within area of responsibility with a working knowledge of interface systems that meet or exceed client expectations on operations and strategic projects.
