Job Title: Senior Integration Specialist

Salary/Rate: $75-110K

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Requirements include:

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.  Experience may be substituted for degree.

Requires knowledge in such areas as data mart or data  warehouse development, SSIS or other ETL solutions, web and cloud oriented systems integration and communication based systems, languages such as C#, Python or Java.  Additional training in Informatica ETL tools will be supplied.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have a minimum of five years of professional information technology experience to include a minimum of two years experience with deployment and support of ETL and web services solutions.   

Must have some experience with the following:

  • Responsible for data warehousing, datamart and/or business intelligence
  • Strong experience with Informatica 8.6.x & 9.x Server Administration, DataStage  or SSIS
  • ETL development background with PowerCenter 8.6.x/9.x, DataStage or SSIS
  • Development experience with Oracle 10g/11g, SQL Server 2005/2008 or Sybase repositories
  • Other programming language such as C#, Python, PL/SQL
  • Developing for shared web services for web or cloud applications

Experience in the following areas is preferred:

  • BI tools or reporting experience with SSAS, SSRS or BOE
  • Project Management Experience
  • Healthcare Payer experience

SKILLS: 

The following skills are required:

  • Ability to design, develop and debug detail ETL or web services solutions based on business requirements.
  • Ability to evaluate the test results of others
  • Self-sufficient with SSIS or Informatica enterprise edition,
  • Ability to create integrations to or build dimensional databases, datamarts and cubes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills along with the ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to product limitation or driven by enterprise need
