Description:
SAIC's Multi-Sensor Exploitation and Countermeasures division is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Aerodynamics expertise located at our Beavercreek,OH site.
Job duties to include: This position requires the evaluation, development, integration, and demonstration of advanced battle space environments and computer generated forces to support training in Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Attack (EA), Homeland Defense, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). Design, development, and integration of Aircraft and Ground training devices, including Instructor Operator Stations (IOS), in a networked simulation environment. The candidate must be able to develop and implement solutions to difficult software problems, as well as work according to established guidelines and technical directions. The candidate would design, develop and implement software programs, procedures and documentation to support customer requirements. Also help identify and resolve technical problems that would affect cost, schedule and performance. Must be able to work with others in a team environment.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum - Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science with engineering applications. 8-10 years experience in computer, engineering or aircraft-related sciences (or a Master's Degree with 5-7 years of related experience.)
Candidate must be a US Citizen in order to obtain a Secret clearance.
Experience with modeling aircraft or weapon aerodynamics (designing or simulating). Software application development using object-oriented design principles in C++ and JAVA. Experience developing real-time, multi-threaded, networked applications. Experience with equations of motion, three dimensional vectors and advanced mathematical concepts. Experience working under Windows and/or Linux operation systems. Experience with Microsoft Visual Studios and NetBeans development environments. Software configuration management tools SVN, GIT or other tool sets.
Desired Experience:
An active Secret clearance is desired.
Experience developing modeling and simulation applications, computer generated forces simulations, weapon fly-out simulations, instructor operator stations, or debrief systems for training purposes highly desired. Experience with coordinate transformations highly desired. Knowledge of military radar, EW, weapon, ground, and aircraft systems highly desired. Experience with networking, graphical user interface programming, database systems, quality assurance desired. Knowledge of Distributive Interactive Simulation (DIS) and/or High Level Architecture (HLA) protocols. Knowledge of C, C#, XML, PHP, Direct X, OpenGL.
