Located in beautiful Lexington, MA, we are a marketing and advertising solutions company looking for a Back End PHP Developer to join our team. The main duties will consist of development, implementation, and maintenance of our platform.
Job Title: Java Developer/Backend Developer/J2EE Developer
Duration: 4-6 months contract

Hourly Rate: $45/hr - $50/hr
Looking for a Java Developer with a strong background in ONE of the following: PHP, Ruby, Python, Perl
What you need for this position:
- 5+ years Java/J2EE Development
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong experience with either one: PHP, Ruby, Rails, Python, Perl
- PHP frameworks: Symfony, design patterns
- Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.
- Confident working with XML and JavaScript
- Experience with Webservices, SOAP, AJAX, etc.
- Any experience with Solr will be a plus
- Experience with E-commerce applications, shopping search or targeting, ad networks, analytics/reporting/data Warehouse applications, mobile applications, online affiliate marketing, SEO/SEM, and email marketing would be a HUGE bonus.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop, design, and deploy platform code and applications content
- Work alongside product managers to define and refine product requirements
- Some lead work will be required, will oversee work of junior developers
- Development of platform infrastructure components in support of application content, applications content in the form of meta-data and page templates, data feeds design, implementation, and handling, platform performance optimizations, and development and deployment of dynamic shopping sites, customer portals and other marketing services.
