We are looking for a smart, technical, PM Lead to drive strategy and implementation in three key areas
- API Services layer utilized by our partners across Microsoft.
- Global Tools in 52 different markets 26 different languages.
- Backend Systems including Video, Storage, and Content Services

You will own the vision and delivery of a key API powering content delivery across a diverse set of web properties and applications. This is a fantastic opportunity for you if you have experience with web application and services architecture, and if you have a strong ability to work with and guide partner relationships.

You must have deep empathy for developers and end users, who are your customers, and you need a talent for defining and executing end-to-end scenarios. You must forge strong cross-group partnerships, synthesizing feedback from many voices and driving consensus on requirements and specifications. You must bring simplicity and clarity to ambiguous ideas. You must be able to diagnose the root cause of issues and design solutions to prevent them from happening again. You need strong core PM skills, including strong technical writing, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:
As Microsoft makes its shift back to consumers the publishing platform is a key asset needed by other divisions. We support entertaining and informing experiences through applications like Skype, Outlook, MSA (Ads), Windows, Office, and AppEx. These services are the backbone to creating great experience in Microsoft OS powered phones, tablets, and PCs.

This is a transforming role to grow our own team, and to work with partners inside and outside Microsoft to explain the core value delivered by our platform. As technology drives changes in consumption patterns we are moving to be a real time, socially connected platform generating more original content.

Qualifications:
- Strong background in, and a passion for, web application architecture and interfaces
- Understanding of how technology is changing consumption patterns and the media industry
- Proven ability to deliver results on a cross-disciplinary (PM, Dev, Test) team
- Great communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to write simple, clear scenarios, problem statements, requirements and specifications
- Solid project management skills
- Passion for improving engineering agility and quality

Experience Required:
Bachalor's Degree required
Experience measuring and managing work through metrics desired.
