The Bing Global Team is looking for an experienced Principal Test Manager with excellent leadership skills and with great passion of shipping high quality international products to reach billions of people worldwide.

We are in the era of serving Internet users with high quality and customized content in 300+ markets with 100+ languages and we are facing great challenges to make our internal localization process/testing process more productive, more efficient and more scalable in order to be able to continuously release dozens products (such as Bing.com, Advertisers tool and numerous modern applications on the PC & Devices platforms, intl search experiences on Android, iPhone & WinPhone platforms) for all supported markets with high quality.

Your team will be building the engineering infrastructure, platform and automation to support the localization operation for Bing and various online products in Application & Services group. Your team will also be responsible for testing those products, signing off on the releases and shipping them to the markets.

You will contribute to the test system and localization system design. You will own both localization engineer and test discipline, defining the international engineering strategy and international testing strategy. You will also drive innovation in vendor management, test efficiency, localization efficiency through adopting cutting edge technologies and development of new tools/systems. Further, you will drive the build-out of new systems, tools, and automation to validate quality for large scale systems for hundreds of markets, supporting the continuous shipping cycle.

This is an exciting growth position with critical impact to the bottom-line of the Bing business. You will hire and grow a team of world-class SDETs, international project engineers and hundreds of vendors around world to deliver on the strategy. This is also a critical role in a very agile and complex environment with high visibility and extensive collaboration that will definitely sharpen your leadership and management skills.

Requirements:
Great passion in international spaces with great sympathy for international users.
Demonstrated cross-group collaboration skills, cross-cultural awareness and understanding
Track record in simultaneously shipping multiple products while maintaining high quality and delivering on schedule.
Deep knowledge in localization testing or localization engineering (tracking record of shipping high quality localized products on schedule is a plus)
Excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills.
Ability to develop senior talent and provide forward thinking and strategic thinking to an organization
Experiences in developing UI test automation, designing tools/infrastructure & web applications.
Minimum 8 years of experience in testing discipline. 3+ years of experience in Test Manager or equivalent role.
Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience required.
