Position Summary:
The head of Business Solutions & Project Execution is responsible for delivering business solutions and executing projects across the US Consumer Lines businesses of Personal Lines, A&H and Warranty. You will be responsible for partnering with the business to identify opportunities for improving business processes and efficiency, as well as defining and implementing solutions. You will also be responsible for tracking business case metrics, costs, budgets, manages resources and staffing decisions. Strong project management discipline is required to ensure that projects are executed properly and the requirements of the businesses are met. You must be able to provide strategic direction and be a strong leader to guide the team of Program/Project Managers, BA's and production support staff.

Organizational Structure:
This position reports to the SVP of Consumer Operations and will lead a team of Program/Project Managers, Business Analysts and support staff.

Performance Objectives:
Manage a team of Program/Project Managers, BA's, and production staff to deliver solutions and project management skills to Consumer Lines businesses.
Partner with the businesses to determine opportunities to improve business processes and efficiency, and provide project management skills to drive execution of projects.
Manage all projects' requirements and development, including identification of functionality and capabilities necessary to meet all business segment needs and ensure all strategies meet compliance guidelines.
Work with all lines of business to understand each areas' strategic initiative needs and work collaboratively to develop business case documentation for senior management approval and business requirements provided to IT for all projects.
Lead planning, requirements development, and implementation of work, including defining scope and phasing.
Work with IT and all other technology areas to continually articulate business needs and develop well-structured integrated project plans.
Manage production support for the policy admin systems used by the businesses.

Position Requirements
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
Significant experience as the lead on large scale IT infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of translating business needs into detailed business requirements and the ability to articulate and produce documentation that can be easily translated to technical specs.
Strong knowledge of competitor or best in class functionality and a keen ability to prioritize tasks to deliver quick yet meaningful results.
Insurance and/or financial institution experience highly desired.
Demonstrated ability working in a highly regulated environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to present complex solutions to executives.
Excellent people management skills, and strong skills in hiring, coaching and retaining talent.
Demonstrated ability to lead across organizations and functions.
10+ years' experience leading large scale initiatives.
Significant scoping and implementation experience required.
Experience using project management tools - PPM, MS Project.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or PMP preferred.
