Position Description:

US Casualty Sr. Programmer Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining multiple financial databases using MS Access, Visual Basic, Excel and SQL Server.

Sr. Programmer analyst will work directly with management to gain process efficiencies within multiple financial reporting processes and provide data gathering and analytical support for strategic planning and programs of work

Analyst will be required to work closely with multiple business partners to develop system solutions for complex financial processes and develop a robust data warehouse to assist in financial analysis.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, accounting,
finance, math or computer science, preferably with strong analytical and excellent programming skills
3-5 years work experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector
Work experience must demonstrate strong programming, analytical and problem
solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Access, Excel, Visual Basic and SQL Server programming.
- Ability to identify process deficiencies and improve efficiencies through technology improvements
Good oral and written communication skills.
Resourceful and creative in approach to research and problem solving.
Must demonstrate a strong desire to succeed in the position and a willingness to go the extra mile in delivering a superior work product.
Must be able to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork, interpersonal, relationship and presentation skills.
Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate findings of analyses.
Possess strategic thinking skills.
