Position Description:
Development and ongoing leadership of the AIG enterprise Software License Management (SLM)governance and control framework aligning SLM roles and responsibilities, functional activities, processes with regulatory, legal, compliance, and industry best practices for management of SLM risk and compliance. To be accomplished in (2) phases:
Initiation, organization, and on-going program/project management to design and build end state; leadership of SLM Program resources and Matrix management of Business Unit and Corporate Function SLM Control teams; establishment of organizational and departmental roles and responsibilities for management and control of end state
Establishment of BAU practices and global enterprise SLM compliance oversight when the governance and control framework becomes operational
Lead the definition and implementation of the global SLM Policies and Governance Framework through management of a global Program consisting of several interrelated work streams:
SLM program governance and management
Technology design and implementation
Contract management
SLM enterprise policies, standards, and procedures
SLM financial management and control
Audit and compliance
Provide thought leadership and strategic direction, guidance to Business Units and Corporate Functions
Drive the implementation of the Control Framework across the enterprise
Monitor project, identify and resolve potential delivery issues/risks; establish reporting; revise program/project plan(s), as necessary
Member of Management teams for cross functional and enterprise programs; communicate program issues, risks, changes, status (including forecasts) to senior management, auditors, business partners, other functional program leads
Manage direct and indirect resources:
Team building and day to day management of a staff of 5 which includes both subject matter experts and analysts; Matrix manage Business Unit and Corporate Function SLM and Compliance leads
Development of enterprise compliance measurement and management reporting tool(s) to assess adherence to new framework
Work with business unit representatives across the global organization to design and implement Governance Reporting
Develop revised control measures and analytics; establish SLM key metrics, KRIs, KPIs and socialize across the enterprise
Institute executive dashboards, monthly governance scorecards across the enterprise
Monitor, analyze, and assess global SLM risk and control weaknesses; determine and oversee remediation
Manage and monitor global integration and socialization of the requirements and responsibilities of the new Framework both at individual business/corporate function and institutional levels across the organization
Determine training and communications content; design and institute program requirements to be adopted and implemented on an enterprise wide basis; oversee and monitor implementation of:
o On-boarding
o Certification programs
o Annual/periodic refreshers
o Notification programs for updates/changes/new policies, procedures/standards/directives
Leadership, partnership and coordination with Infrastructure, Finance, and Sourcing to establish organizational roles and responsibilities, policies, standards and procedures
Position Requirements
Depth of experience in project/program management of large global control and transformation initiatives
Expertise and experience with SLM related industry standards and best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Experience with IT application development, maintenance, and enhancement processes, controls, and reporting
