Responsibilities for the Linux System Administrator position will include providing top level troubleshooting, and enhancing the user experience. Our administrators are product experts with open source environments. We have a high retention rate in our technology department due to our exponential fast track for growth opportunities. We like to promote from within and like our team leads and senior staff to be proven in their respective technical expertise. What you need for this position:
- Linux/Unix (Debian is preferred)
- High Availability
- Amazon Web Services/EC2
- Networking/distributed computing
- Scripting (Perl, awk, bash, Shell)
- Configure NFS, LDAP, Bind/DNS, eMails/Postfix/Zimbra
- IP/VLAN addressing allocation, management & routing
- Kernel tuning and builds is preferred
- SAN/NAS (NetApp, BluArc)
- VMware is a plus!
- Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL is a plus!
