ENTERPRISE DATA WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR FOR A 6 MONTH TO PERM CONTRACT POSITION IN BIRMINGHAM AL.
Job Description:
The Enterprise Data Warehouse Administrator will collaborate with a diverse team of analysts, developers and end users to maintain our PowerInsight Enterprise Data Warehouse environment, including SAP Business Objects and Informatica.
Responsibilities
Monitors daily ETL jobs, checking and resolving errors and assist in identifying and resolving performance issues
Administers SAP Business Objects, including
o Manages end-user accounts and accessibility
o Assist in resolving performance issues related to BO reports
Installs, deploys and upgrades data warehouse systems applications; maintains documentation, and performs routine systems administration maintenance activities
Provides assistance to end users and programmers regarding data warehouse related problems and issues.
Job Requirements:
Experience with creating, troubleshooting, tuning, and maintaining data warehouse systems, database administration, and systems administration
Experience administering SAP Business Objects in a Windows environment, including user and group security,
Experience administering IBM WebSphere in a clustered Windows environment
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter in a Unix environment, AIX strongly preferred
Experience with Cerner PowerInsight strongly preferred
Experience with SQL, particularly with Oracle databases in a Unix environment
Familiarity with Windows Active Directory authentication
Familiarity with SAP Business Objects clustering
Familiarity with a Windows server environment using virtual machines
