ENTERPRISE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER 

Job Description:

The Enterprise Business Intelligence Developer will collaborate with a diverse team of analysts and end users to design and build BI artifacts, such as reports and dashboards, using PowerInsight Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Objects. This role will perform both analyst and developer responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities
Identify, describe and define BI problems and requirements from across the organization. This includes:
o consulting with users of the Enterprise Data Warehouse at all levels to assess their needs
o Developing functional requirements specifications, documenting detailed user requirements and definitions for reports
Develop solutions using existing Data Warehouse capabilities, including data warehouse data structures, ETL jobs and reports, in collaboration with business, development and operations teams
Design, plan, develop, test, and document BI artifacts, including reports, dashboards and others.
o Actively review reports for accuracy and alignment with users' requirements.
o Review, analyze, and resolve user or data-related issues in collaboration with other team members.

Job Requirements:
3+ years' experience in BI/data warehousing development, preferably with Cerner PowerInsight
Strong knowledge of SAP Business Objects
Strong knowledge of SQL for reporting and database structures, with Oracle, including developing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
Strong understanding of clinical data, preferably from Cerner Millennium, with experience in a clinical environment preferred
Experience with the Informatica tool and ETL processes preferred
Strong problem solving and analytic skills
Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
Good communication skills and team player
