Job Description
Motion Industries' Operational Excellence (OE) program is a part of our strategic plan to grow our business and Deliver the Difference to our customers. The Business Process Analyst develops, manages, and implements process-focused new Business Model Assessments to support company strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but waived in light of relevant experience
- At least 2 years experience reflecting development of the skills listed below
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, preferably Supply Chain Process
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation development
- Leadership, communication, and relationship skills
- Firm analytical, critical thinking, problem solving mathematical skills
- Reliability, organization and attention to detail
- Solid written and oral communication, including presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate processes through observation, assessment facilitation and policy review
- Provide effective, creative solutions to increase sales and customer service through business process improvement
- Conduct project planning (Development of Objective, Scope, Approach and Measurements)
- Align process and project goals with changing business requirements, technology changes, and identified environmental/safety concerns
- Manage project activities (Tasks, Timeframes, and Progress Reporting)
- Support best practices and tools for project execution
- Ensure project delivery is timely and complete
- Direct cross-functional teams towards effective solutions
- Develop and facilitate project discussions
- Influence team to move toward a common vision or goal and manage team conflicts
- Coordinate field training development and communication plans for new and revised processes
- Understand Key Performance Indicators
- Analyze data to identify trends, relationships and opportunities to improve processes
- Adapt communication approach to various audiences
- Investigate reporting and process discrepancies and provide solutions
- Prepare project measures and benefits statements.
