Description
Key Role:
Serve as a special forces language training technology and infrastructure analyst to assess and analyze language training technologies and environments to enhance the effectiveness of the Special Forces Command Language Training Program. Assess reports of current and emerging language training technologies, including the assessment of computer-based language training hardware and software, technical training aids, and supporting technical resources. Manage the assessment reports of current language training infrastructure, including the assessment of language training classrooms, virtual or distance learning environments, and field training environments. Perform gap analysis of technical and environmental factors with subsequent recommendations for technology integration into all training environments. Analyze facility and equipment usage and develop reports that recommend improvements. Assist a team of consultants and clients to support the USASFC (A) Language Training Program. Identify ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the USASFC (A) language training program. This position is located in Birmingham, AL.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:-1+ years of experience with supporting Special Forces language requirements-1+ years of experience with language training in language training infrastructure technologies and infrastructure-Active Secret clearance-HS diploma or GED-Network A+ and Network Security A+ Certification required
Additional Qualifications:-Experience with Microsoft Office applications-Knowledge of classroom-based technologies-Knowledge of local area networks-BA or BS degree in related field preferred-CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Certification preferred
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
