As a Database Design Engineer I at Micron you will work within a team that is central to all product development issues and is responsible for taking Micron Products from design to production. Along with design, process, and manufacturing engineers, the Database Design Engineer helps to optimize manufacturing processes as well as yield and cost improvements. The Database Design Engineer is responsible for all aspects of mask documentation, validation, verification and generation flows.
Primary responsibilities would include:
Ability to implement all schematic and layout edits using Cadence available tools and running all database verification tools such as LVS, DRC, and Compares.
Competently able to interpret database verification results in order to validate data being passed for mask generation and post processing through tapeout.
Actively work to understand FAB traveler at any production, process node.
Overall resource and support aiding in IC debug through ability to run simulation tools including HSIM, HSPICE, Ultrasim and Verilog as well as ability to interpret the run results.
Qualifications
Candidates need to have good communication, problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Good working knowledge of transistor operation, CMOS circuit operation and device physics understanding.
Degree Required: Bachelor of Science or
equivalent foreign education
