SAP Business Process Analysts at Micron work to both implement new SAP functionality and support existing SAP systems for global core organizational functions for various business domains within the company. You will have the opportunity to use, and become familiar with, the following standardized release procedures: coordinating, planning, monitoring, documenting, testing, and scheduling as you go about implementing new functionality or support existing processes. You may also have the opportunity to help align the capabilities of the company's SAP systems as well as design business processes and requirements based on business needs.
As a Micron SAP Business Process Analyst Intern, you will deliver real solutions with real world-wide impact to move our exciting fast paced business forward. Your personal drive, enthusiasm, and ability can and will enable you to create and deliver amazing results at Micron. You will have a personal mentor tasked with doing whatever possible to support your efforts for success. We also provide you and other interns with fun and interesting experiences including interaction with executives, cutting edge technological roadmaps, and various recreational and cultural offerings found in Boise and the surrounding area.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- Experience/Class work related to configuration of an SAP system.
- Understanding of and ability to navigate the SAP hierarchy.
- Strong command of basic, module independent, transaction codes and ability to navigate through an SAP system.
- Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and consensus building skills.
- Additional beneficial skills for the position would include experience and understanding of one or more of the following SAP modules: FI, CO, HR, PM, PP, MM, SD, QM, PM, LO, SCM, and/or SRM.
Education:
Ideal candidates are students seeking a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems with an emphasis on SAP or equivalent related experience.
This internship will primarily span the summer months in 2014.
