The Engineering Tester Solutions (ETS) group within Micron provides in-house automated tester solutions for product engineers, quality assurance engineers, failure and yield analysis engineers, and other groups throughout the company. Our flagship product, the MicroMATE, is a bench-top tester platform unique to Micron and used worldwide by Micron's engineers. It provides a complete hardware and software solution for testing Micron's memory devices. Our talented group of engineers provides Micron with a powerful, agile testing platform that can constantly grow and adapt to meet the demands of Micron's innovative memory technologies.
As a Software Engineer Intern for the MicroMATE development team your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Helping to deliver advanced software tools for the latest evolution of our flagship tester platform.
- Helping our software engineers provide a broad range of software development, which may include:
- Using C++ that interfaces with our custom hardware
- Compiler development for our algorithmic pattern generation language
- Performing algorithm development for data processing and analysis
- Providing COM interface design, UI and automation tools design and development in both Visual C++ (MFC) and C#
Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- Familiarity with various languages: Visual C++ (MFC), C#, Java, and python.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
Education:
Must be at least junior year standing, pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
