The Internal Market Development Manager will be responsible for setting and driving our tactical marketing program framework; establishing market preference and awareness in support of design win and revenue growth. This role will collaborate across the Micron Marketing and Sales network. This role will focus on insuring the NSG and Micron partners are aligned on marketing, business unit and program messaging. This role reports to the Market Development Director.
This position is based in Boise, Idaho.
The Internal Market Development Manager responsibilities and deliverables include, but are not limited to:
- Quarterly Messaging for BOD/BUM/Financial Call/NSGLT letter: Create messaging template to be used for quarterly communication. Outline story for BUM, prepare slides.
- NSG Community: Drive the NSG Community page, with the goal to create a platform for team members to feel connected to the broader business activities and decisions. The NSG Community has been a positive success. This role will be charter with expanding the reach and content to the broader Micron network. This next phase should include a new and improved platform.
- Sounding Board/Editor: Work with NSGLT, Marketing & others to review communication and collateral, as needed.
- NSG LT Alignment: Work with NSG LT in prep for VP presentations; internal and external.
- Training Execution: Develop and execute best in class sales training and sales collateral.
Qualifications
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- Min 10+ years experience in product or system design, field applications or system engineering role.
- Min 5+ years experience in a senior management role. Managing across multiple sites a plus.
- Create, propose and drive product requirements and/or product support internally and externally.
- Excellent verbal and written skills targeted for Executive communications.
- High technical comprehension a must with a focus of taking complex issues and translating into easily communicated messages.
- Experience with high speed I/O interfaces (SATA, SAS, PCIe, SCSI, Infiniband, FiberChannel, Ethernet.
- Experience with Memory technologies (DRAM, NOR, NAND).
- Must have familiarity with Server and Storage system architecture.
- Experience with IT, Enterprise and Cloud storage customers a plus
- The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of division/business unit strategic objectives and goals. Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment. Dynamic, motivated, and results oriented creative thinker. An understanding of the SSD market and experience in the development and deployment of marketing programs a must. Experience working with partners, OEMs and internal groups to drive programs a must.
Education:
- Requires BS technical degree or equivalent, MBA a plus. The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of sales, marketing or related experience.
