As a Wireless Solutions Group (WSG) Product Development Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. you will be responsible for taking new products from design to high volume manufacturing. This will involve defining test flows, establishing product configuration parameters, validating product performance, performing initial reliability assessment and performing electrical failure analysis. You will also be responsible for assisting the Quality and Reliability teams by providing failure analysis during internal and external product qualifications and process improvement by forming a collaborative relationship with the process engineering team. Lastly you will be responsible for enhancing product yield by generating test coverage for field failures, collaborating to manage non-conforming materials, leading improvement task teams and by providing consultation to manufacturing regarding miscellaneous yield issues.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Process Improvement

- Manufacturing Support

Successful candidates for this position will have:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to clearly communicate and document findings
- Proficiency with C and C++ programming languages.
- The ability to write test vectors using an algorithmic pattern generator.
- An understanding of MMC controller protocol and architecture - including datasheet specs, timings, etc.
- A basic background in NAND Flash operation, including data sheet knowledge of specifications and timings, etc.
- Experience with NAND and/or Controller debug and testing
- Willingness to travel abroad
- Related experience in the following fields is a plus
- Mobile product development and debug experience
- Knowledge of architecture of Mobile phones or systems
- Experience and knowledge of various Mobile OS and/or drivers

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
