Responsibilities

As an Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you have the opportunity to accelerate the delivery and improve the quality and performance of Pearson Online Learning products. You will be working with world-class software engineers and responsible for designing and developing core foundation library and framework for automation testing and performance
evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

- Learn and own one or more critical functional areas.
- With help from senior Automation engineers, work with development team to develop test strategies, test plans and test cases.
- Utilize the existing automation framework to automation test cases.
- Learn to maintain and develop on the automation framework.
- Developing simulation tools.

Qualifications

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science
- 0~2 year engineering experience.
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
- Java, .NET or C++ programming experiences
- Proficient in XML structures and parsers.
- Broad OS and networking knowledge, an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Solid understanding of SQL/relational database concepts
- Experience in software development and testing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a good team player.
- Detailed oriented resourceful, initiative and creative.
