What you need for this position:
- Jedi/Guru HTML5 & CSS3 skills
- Good practical knowledge of JavaScript
- Interest or experience of styling existing component libraries Kendo UI, EXT-JS, etc.
- Work well in a small team with the ability to work independently on significant pieces of functionality
- Experience of working with modern source control systems (svn, git)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, design or a related field
- Visual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) and a strong sense of aesthetics.
What you'll be doing:
- Work as part of a newly formed development team responsible for the delivery of our latest User Interface
- Ownership of the CSS & HTML5 standards and templates for our entire portfolio
- Styling of existing component libraries to match our internal standards for UI design
- Work closely with User Experience team on rapid prototyping of concepts & interaction patterns
-Translation of mockups and comps into pixel-perfect releaseable HTML & CSS
