As part of your duties, you'll be responsible for participating in the design, coding, architecting, and participating in project planning for the platform. Here's what we're looking for:
1) BS, Master's, or a PHd in Computer Science or an equivalent
2) At least 5 years of practical software development experience on a commercial project
3) Background in highly scalable and/or highly reliable systems is strongly preferred
4) Experience building distributed systems in .NET or Java is highly preferred
5) Strong competency in Object Oriented Programming
6) Strong competency in dependency injection frameworks
7) Experienced in building RESTful web services
8) Strong programming skills in Java or .NET required
9) Strong working knowledge of application Servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or IIS
10) Strong working knowledge of concurrent systems development
11) Strong working knowledge of distributed application architectures
12) Knowledge of the Eclipse IDE and/or Visual Studio required
13) Knowledge of source control tools such as SVN, Git, or Mercurial is required
