What you'll be doing:
• Collaborate with cross functional teams for specific Product Development efforts. Assist and provide input during the creation of business requirements and functional design.
• Work with technical architects to define and document system designs and solutions consistent with the prescribed architecture. Work with teams of software engineers and developers on multiple and complex software development efforts. Work with the QA staff during various phases of testing and test case preparation.
What you need for this position:
• Detailed knowledge of and experience with distributed programming and software development utilizing Websphere Message Broker, MQ, Java, XML
• Experience with Agile, J2EE, Business Mapping Technologies, Oracle Database
• Experience in the various phases of the system development life cycle including project planning, analysis and design, coding, and testing
• 5-7 years software engineering experience
• 3 years Websphere Message Broker, MQ experience
• 2 years experience in an Agile Development methodology.
• 1-2 years experience in other distributed environments (J2EE)
• Proficiency in Unix.
