Job Description: Storage System Administrator - L2

The CGI US Tier 1 Organization is seeking an experienced Storage Administrator to work in a growing multi-tennant SAN environment.

The Storage Administrator position supports a multi-vendor SAN infrastructure (HDS, EMC, IBM) with Brocade and CISCO MDS fabric switches. Our team supports provisioning, project work (design), solutioning and performance/capacity management.

Essential Skills Required:

- Experience with HDS tools

- HiCmd Suite, - HTsM (Tiered Storage Manager)

- HTnM (Tuning Manager)

- HCmD (Command Director)

- Aptare

- Storage Navigator

- SNM2 (Storage Navigator Modular 2 for AMS)

- HDP (Dynamic Provisioning)

- Volume Migration v2

- HUR)

- Experience with HDS hardware

- Experience with EMC Storage and tools (ECC, etc)

- Knowledge of both Brocade and CISCO MDS fabric switches

- 3-5 years of storage administration

. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for storage and SAN support
- Provide technical leadership to more junior team members
- Has experience working in a large storage environment and formal change management practices
- Experience with Remedy preferred
- Experience with ITIL v3 preferred
- Must be detail-oriented with good organization skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and ethical at all times
- Energy, initiative, and a positive attitude

- Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Working knowledge of Unix, Wintel, VMware
