The Bing Information Platform GeoSpatial Content group is looking for motivated Software Development Engineers to become a part of the Content Information Extraction team in Boulder, CO. We are a cutting-edge team building a large-scale system supporting Bing Maps - the Information Extraction team is in charge of extracting semantic information from Aerial and Street-side images, GPS traces and Digital Surface Models.
You'll work on designing and implementing responsive, easy-to-use, scalable UI applications to extract semantic information manually from images, GPS, DSM using .NET technologies (eg WPF, MVC, Asp.NET) and you'll be writing code to execute automatic information extraction algorithms in the Image Processing Framework running in our cluster of several thousand machines. We expect people on our team to come up with great ideas and to implement their ideas in robust and efficient code.

Qualifications:
Design and implement UI, user workflow and data flow between UI Front End and SQL database Back End.
Complex programming primarily in C#, WPF, SQL Server, and other .NET technologies such as XML and Web Services.
Required:
Minimum 5 years' experience in computer software development
C#, C/C++ programming experience
Strong verbal and written communications skills
BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience
