Job Description:
This position is 100% software development in C/C++ with limited x86 assembly on Windows laptops, desktops and Untrabooks. In this position, your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Designing, developing/coding, and debugging Windows device drivers for Intel's integrated storage and redundant array of independent disks (RAID) products
- Debugging product and test failures using software debuggers, In-Target Probe (ITP), and bus analyzers
- Reviewing and providing strong feedback on product software architecture specifications and design specifications.
- Debugging hardware-related software issues
- Working very closely with the desktop hardware chipset teams to create a production software product for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and end users
- Responding to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur
- Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment, and formal software process

Qualifications
BS + 6 years. exp.; MS + 4 years. exp.; PhD + 2 years. exp. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Minimum Requirements:
- 6+ years experience in C/C++ and Object Oriented coding skills
- 6+ years experience in Software Development Life Cycles (SDL) or Agile or Waterfall
- Excellent programming skills
- Must have strong problem solving skills and communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Education and experience in file systems, storage products and/or redundant array of independent disks (RAID)
- Experience with storage protocols, interfaces, and concepts (ie SATA, SAS, SCSI, AHCI), Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI), Integrated Drive Electronics (IDE) or RAID devices

Preferred Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Windows WDM device driver development experience
- Debug and development experience with Windows Kernel debuggers and/or Windows application debuggers
- Knowledge of Windows OS and driver internals
- - General PC architecture knowledge
- Windows application software programming experience
- PC System BIOS knowledge
- PC assembly/building skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self motivated
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience working in Agile, specifically scrum, methodology is highly desired
