We have an excellent opportunity for a Software Developer for our Boulder, CO location. Working in a small-team environment, you will play a lead role in the design, development and evolution of KT's products and support the existing software and customer infrastructure. To be successful in this important role you must have the desire and ability to learn new techniques and share your knowledge. You need a demonstrated passion for software development, software craftsmanship, and test-driven development! Tremendous growth opportunity for a senior level Professional!
Responsibilities

- Develop prototypes, proofs of concept in addition to production-quality solutions

Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of professional programming experience on Unix/Linux platforms
- Proven ability to develop robust, production-quality code
- Experience programming in Java, Perl, Python
- Successful implementation of agile development methodologies
- Experience with web services development and service-oriented architectures
- Commitment to test-driven development
- Experience developing software tools, utilities, and libraries/components
- Ability to work independently and as a key contributor in small teams
- Excellent communication skills -- written, verbal, and graphical
Additional Plus:
- Programming with R, Ruby
- Understanding of machine learning and natural language processing
- Basic understanding of UML and BPML
- SQL (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Understand of domain-specific language development
