We at Businesstaff have been retained by our client in the Greater Denver Area in search of a Systems Engineer - Government & Defense. The Government & Defense Systems Engineer (SE) will provide technical support and expertise throughout the sales cycle to ensure complete customer satisfaction, including during the technology evaluation stage, to assist the sales team in securing design wins. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support for Embedded communication system solutions to meet technological and customer requirements.
• Define and analyze system design requirements and provide documentation to meet defined and anticipated customer needs, while meeting quality and performance standards.
• Write integration and test plans; conduct and lead system verification, testing and integration efforts to ensure optimum system performance.
• Perform any necessary diagnostics, technical troubleshooting, and service and network optimization either remotely or on-site with customer.
• Collaborate with team members to solve customer problems and document best practices to improve team performance.
• Provide input into Product Management for product roadmaps, and offer field input into the design of new products and functionality to support market requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 to 7+ years of previous technical pre-sales/post-sales experience required.
• A BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent combination of related education and experience is required.
• Experience with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and Soldier Training programs is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and implementation of Cryptographic solutions is highly desirable.
• An understanding of TDMA is desired.
• Additional preferred qualifications include:
  • Hands-on experience with data sniffers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Hands-on experience deploying licensed and unlicensed wireless solutions.

Salary of $85,000 to $100,000 with an exceptional benefits package offered, including Bonus, Stock and Relocation.
