One of the top Professional Services firm in the country is expanding their development team in Nashville and is looking a Sr. Web Application Developer to hire and join their team. They are in the Microsoft stack and have a great work culture/environment.
The right candidate should have strong web development, business analysis and time management skills; solid work experience designing and maintaining Extranet and Intranet systems. This position will be have responsibility to manage development projects through the full life-cycle of software development including client meetings and presentations, project scoping, requirements definition, prototype development, testing and release
What you need for this position:
- 4+ years of C#/.NET in a professional setting
- Sharepoint Application development (Sharepoint 2010 a plus!)
- jQuery is a bonus skill
What you'll be doing:
- Build and implement new web applications, pages and sites
- Integrating sites with Back End applications, migrating Legacy applications to the web, and performing day-to-day administration of the organization†s web (intranet/extranets) portfolio using a variety of web development languages
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing web applications and sites
- Participate in setting organizational web development strategy, defining web site architecture and overall site structure
- Conduct research into current and emerging technologies; install and configure Servers and associated operating systems related to web development.
- Work with database administrators to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to web applications
