We are currently experiencing a period of rapid growth and seeking multiple DevOps Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in Cloud Computing/Administration, Ruby or PHP programming, Amazon Web Services and either Puppet or Chef (similar configuration management tools would work as well). You will be a part of a fun and fast-paced working environment with tons of upside. For the right candidate we can offer a strong compensation package including a base salary between 60-80K depending on experience!
What you need for this position:
- Good knowledge of software development and systems administration
- Experience with Ruby and/or PHP
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3 etc.)
- Experience with Linux, Apache and MySQL
- Experience with or knowledge of the following are pluses; Puppet, Chef, Subversion, Git and Drupal
What you'll be doing:
- Create software that controls thousands of Servers in Ruby, PHP and Python
- Design and develop tools to automatically deploy, maintain and monitor a cloud hosting platform
- Work on scaling our platform
- Debugging runtime problems and solving complex problems
- Solving complex architecture problems
