About the Job

Channel Strategic Account Managers are responsible for the strategic sales of Akamai services in partnership with AT&T client executives. You will be responsible for working closely with AT&T sales executives in multiple industry verticals, creating a business plan for success that includes pipeline development, strategic selling, and exploring and closing all new business and revenue opportunities. This job requires a highly experienced and driven sales executive with strong technical acumen, ability to develop deep product knowledge, and excellent customer presentation and business case development skills. This Channel Strategic Account Manager must be highly motivated to take on new challenges in a new high visibility, high growth team environment.

About the Team

AT&T is combining Akamai's industry leading content delivery platform with its world-renowned IP network to deliver to companies an exclusive suite of global acceleration and communications solutions that will be jointly marketed, managed and supported by the two companies. With high levels of executive visibility across both organizations, this team will be collectively responsible for the growth and success of the AT&T and Akamai Strategic Alliance. Starting at the ground-up, 4 highly experienced and successful Partner Account Executives in North America will be partnered with 4 top Solutions Engineers to sell and support white-labeled Akamai services into AT&T's prospective and existing customer base.

Responsibilities:
- Ownership of a revenue plan, in partnership with AT&T, to grow revenues in existing customer base by identifying and selling additional services.
- Identify, develop and close new business at prospective AT&T customers.
- Develop AT&T product fluency by providing product training and support to AT&T sales executives in your defined territory.
- Maintain a higher than average NPS rating in all accounts.
- Coordinate/collaborate with AT&T and Akamai sales executives on all opportunities.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years selling into Enterprise and/or Digital Media accounts, preferably in the application acceleration or telecommunications industries.
- College degree required.

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud technology sales and cloud market.
- Channel Sales experience is a plus.
- Experience and success being a remote team member.
