Senior Java Systems Analyst - Permanent

Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Java Systems Analyst to join our client in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Responsibilities:

- Define, document and implement business, technical, and functional requirements.
- Monitor, maintain, administer and customize existing application for maximum performance.
- Model, implement and optimize business processes.
- Perform database administration and maintenance on Oracle platform.
- Support business users in their modelling and application use.
- Support integration layer between multiple systems.
- Compliance with all processes, procedures, and standards applicable to the position.
- Evaluate both routine and difficult matters of moderate risk and identify multiple solutions using advanced analytical techniques.
- Make decisions affecting the design, scheduling, and completion of projects.
- Examine highly complex data from multiple sources crossing departmental boundaries in which results are not predictable.
- Utilize multiple advanced analytical techniques such as critical, creative, conceptual and intuitive thinking to analyze moderately high risk situations, generate multiple options and approaches.
- Apply analysis to identify trends and predict future issues to effectively implements courses of action.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field required.
- Four (4) years of experience in maintenance and support of production grade software, using JAVA for software development required.
- Four (4) years of Oracle DB administration and SQL is preferred.
