Lead Business Analyst
We seek a passionate, value driven business analyst to add to a growing Carrollton-based engineering team. This team is developing a SAAS/PAAS-based global tax compliance platform. This platform is primarily utilized for direct and indirect tax compliance and is being leveraged by business units located around the world. We value technical aptitude, adaptive ingenuity and a proven record of performance over proficiency with a specific tool set.
- Demonstrated ability to elicit, analyze, validate and document business processes and requirements.
- Proven ability working with the unique constraints and characteristics inherent in the tax and accounting industries.
- Desire to work in a team environment serving multiple internal customer groups.
- Prepared to be Embedded in a highly collaborative team environment with much technical discussion and open debate.
- Evidence of being innovative and self-motivated.
- Longs for the opportunity to promote a collaborative, cross-functional corporate culture, assisting others as needed along the journey.
- Demonstrated ability to test systems implementing the requirements specified with an eye for quality, and to support users at all levels.

Qualifications
- Proven possession of proficient knowledge of the tax aspects of U.S. Federal or Global tax compliance.
- Demonstrated prior use of tax compliance software and software development.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work on complex tasks with minimal technical and management guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and wisely apply new ideas and concepts.
- 5 or more years of tax accounting experience.
- 4-year college degree in Accounting or a closely related field, or demonstrable work experience.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment a plus.
