Controller/Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager Contract

PART-TIME SEASONED PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER OR CONTROLLER

Position Description

Seeking seasoned professional accounting manager or controller to assist with temporary accounting assignments in Eastern Iowa. The ideal candidate would be:

- Capable of preparing financial statement for a variety of clients,
- Able to use various common accounting software packages,
- Seasoned professional able to provide performance advise to clients,
- Interested in long-term part-time project based employment and be interested in working on a part-time project basis indefinitely.

Basic Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. accounting degree or equivalent experience.
- Significant successful accounting manager or controller experience.
- Ability to travel throughout eastern Iowa.
- Certified Public Accountant, preferred.
- Ability to articulate, write and present information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
- Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented client focused environment.
- Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Natural aptitude for solving problems.
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Driven to exceed client expectations.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Presents themselves in a professional manor interacting with business owners.
